East/West Riverside

The New Orleans City Planning Commission separated Riverside as East Riverside and West Riverside, but to locals is all Riverside. Located between Audubon and Irish Channel neighborhoods, Riverside consists of numerous restaurants, boutiques, cozy cafes, and coffee shops. Enjoy live music at the famous Tipitina’s on Tchoupitoulas Street. East Riverside is the 5th most walkable neighborhood in the city, while West Riverside ranks at Number 11.
